3. И помни Создателя твоего в дни юности твоей,
доколе не пришли тяжелые дни и не наступили годы, когда будешь говорить:
Нет, нет, нет в них удовольствий.

4. Выслушаем сущность всего: бойся Бога и заповеди Его соблюдай, ибо в этом все для человека;
ибо всякое дело Бог приведет на суд, и все тайное, хорошо, хорошо ли оно, или худо.

1. For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die;

2. Vanity of vanities! All is vanity. What does man gain by all the toils?
A generation goes, and a generation comes, but the earth remains forever.

The sun rises, and the sun goes down,
The wind blows to the south and goes around to the north; around and around goes the wind.
All streams run to the sea, but the sea is not full;
All things are full of weariness; a man cannot utter it;
And there is nothing new under the sun.

3. Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, "I have no pleasure in them";

4. The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.
